The GTP Telecom Revenue Generation Program
The GTP Program was designed to generate ancillary telecom revenue for property
owners who are GTP clients in a streamlined and efficient manner. The diagram below outlines the strategy that
we use to turn your unutilized property space into telecom revenue for you and your
business.
Marketing
Upon a property owner becoming a GTP client, GTP will begin marketing the owner’s
properties via the GTP web site, carrier meetings, and other collateral marketing materials.
Carriers would be informed that the owner’s properties are now available.
Design Review
GTP would lease the rooftop or ground space from the owner. GTP would obtain and review a carrier’s design plans and make suggestions or alterations pursuant to the owner’s aesthetic requirements. Once plans are approved by the owner, GTP would sublease the required space to the carrier using the pre-negotiated GTP lease.
Lease Administration and Carrier Concerns
The carrier will submit the required information and plans prior to construnction
on the owner's rooftop or ground space and must abide by the terms and conditions of the lease. A construction punch list would be administered and completed. Property
owner's concerns regarding carriers' installations are addressed immediately by
GTP.
Information, Billing and Collections
All billing and rent collection would be handled by GTP. In addition, reports are
prepared for the owner each month to facilitate the owner's accounting and to provide the detail of the monthly billing and collection. Other owner specific reports are
also available via a portal on the GTP website.
Success
The rooftop and ground program program has proven to work for all property types. However, this program’s success is dependent upon the client’s ability to review and approve GTP leases and carrier plans quickly. The RE Dept will assist each client with this program’s implementation and looks forward to increasing each client’s portfolio’s net worth.
